Welcome to Alexandra Makarova Art, a portfolio website of an artist to present myself and my art work. I was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. It is impossible to stay indifferent to any kind of art living in such a beautiful and artistic city. My passion for art started from dancing when I was 4 and led me to pursue a career of a dancer and later a yoga and dance teacher. Since then I have been actively engaged in various art exhibitions, festivals and shows but as a loyal art lover. Until one day when I took a brush in my hands and started painting. Through my art, I aim to evoke emotions and feelings in each heart like I used to do being on stage and provoke deep positive thoughts in all the minds.
